Spotlight is a family-owned and operated Australian business with stores throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. They employ more than 6,700 team members who are dedicated to providing the best quality, service, price, and expertise in fabrics, craft, and homewares to their millions of customers each year.
Spotlight’s founders learned about fabrics by working at their family stall at Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market in the early 1970’s. Their strong drive and business acumen led them to open their first Spotlight store in Malvern in September of 1973, and have grown from strength to strength ever since.
As Spotlight’s presence has grown, so has its range of products. Spotlight has over one hundred stores across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia, with hundreds of brands and thousands of products to choose from.
When you head into a Spotlight store you can find almost everything you need to kit out your home. Kitchen and dining spaces, lounge and bedrooms, bathrooms, and laundries are all covered by your local Spotlight store. Its ranges of haberdashery and craft have expanded, and its party section can provide you with all of the decorations and costumes you need for your next celebration. In 2014 they have started the unrolling of their new online store so that their customers can get anything they need as well as expert advice when they can’t get to a store.
Spotlight has come a long way from the family fabric stall at Queen Victoria Market, and they have not lost the personal touch, affordable prices, and attention to quality which makes them one of the most beloved stores in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

Click & Collect is now available across all New Zealand stores with minimum $30 purchase*.
WHAT IS CLICK & COLLECT?
Click & Collect allows you to purchase goods through the Spotlight website and pick them up at a store convenient to you.
When you use Click & Collect to buy online, your goods are paid for before you arrive, so all you need to do is collect and go.
There is no additional charge for Click & Collect.
HOW CLICK & COLLECT WORKS?
View the item/s you’d like to purchase online.
Select your colour, size and quantity.
Select a store ensuring your chosen store indicates your product has ‘Stock available in store’.
Add the item(s) to your cart.
Follow the steps to check out as normal. The delivery section in checkout will indicate that you are collecting your items in store.
You’ll receive an email confirming your order.
A second email will be sent when your order is ready for collection. Ensure you bring a digital or printed copy of this email along with photo identification with you.
Head in to the store and check the signage for the Click & Collect pick-up point, present your email and ID to collect your item/s.
