ch. Tralee was founded by Patricia Chute and Fionàn Harty in 1967. Chute Harty Chemists subsequently became C.H Chemists.
Patricia was the Tralee Rose in the International Rose of Tralee Festival and she caught the eye of a young Fionàn Harty who operated a pharmacy in Rock Street. After the couple married they began to develop Patricia’s own family business Chute’s Chemists (in The Mall).
Patricia, a qualified beautician developed the beauty side of the business while Fionàn concentrated on the pharmacy side. The business developed over the years with the addition of their daughter Claire, an ophthalmic optician and their son Peter, a pharmacist.
Today Peter and Claire continue their parents ethos along with a talented team of forty four.
The ch. philosophy is to think ahead to stay ahead, hence in living by this philosophy they endeavour to stock the most current and innovative products and services. They are committed to providing exceptional customer and patient care and invest heavily in training their team to the highest level to ensure the best possible service.

This is a convenient and complimentary service which enables you to place an order online and collect in store at ch. Tralee with no additional charge.
How does it work?
Once you have found the item(s) you would like to purchase, simply add to your shopping bag and proceed to checkout.
You will be given a list of delivery methods, choose collection from the options. Payment authorisation is taken at the time you place your order, and full payment is taken when your order is collected.
Please allow at least 48 hours for collection, you will be notified by email when your order is ready for collection.
They will keep your order in store for 14 days, from the date of receipt to store. After this period you will be contacted and they will either process a refund via your original method of payment.
If for any reason you are unable to collect your order when it is ready please contact their Online Customer Services Team to make an alternative arrangement.
Please note: Orders places Monday – Thursday will be available to collect instore between 48 – 36 hours. Orders placed Friday-Sunday can take up to 48 – 72 hours.
