There are no sales targets in Altitude and no commission for sales staff; their job is to give their customers the benefit of their knowledge and experience to help them make the right decision for them.
They work with some of the biggest bicycle brands including Giant, Liv, Trek, Scott, Raleigh, and Shimano to name but a few.
Apart from selling amazing bicycles, Altitude operates as a Shimano Service Centre for all bicycle repairs. They use Shimano original equipment when servicing your bike and their senior mechanics have more than fifty years combined experience. Their specialist repair services include suspension servicing on all brands of front and rear suspension units, including Fox, RockShox and Suntour. They also carry their high level carbon fibre repairs on their own premises – you can see examples of previous work they have done on the Altitude Instagram page. They also offer a full Bike Fit service. Their Workshop Manager David Butler is qualified to Level 2 (the highest level) as a Bike Fitter through CycleFit UK, one of the most respected Bike Fitting processes available.

Their Click & Collect service offers all the benefits of shopping online combined with specialist personal retail experience in one of their stores. Simply order your items, select Click & Collect and pick up your item at a time that’s convenient for you. Best of all the service is completely FREE!
1. Add your items to your basket
Use their website to browse their catalogue of products with stock availability. When you find the item you want simply add it to your basket like you usually would.
2. Checkout using Click & Collect
From the Shopping Basket, click the ‘Begin Checkout’ button. Choose ‘Collect from our Waterford Store’, clicking on the option to reveal the selection drop-down. From the drop-down menu, select your County (this tells them how far from the Waterford store you are and, with this information, they’ll give you information about how to locate them).
Frequently Asked Questions
When can I collect my order?
For items in stock at the chosen collection store, they will normally have your item ready to collect within 1-2 working days.
For items which are at the warehouse your order will be ready to collect in the time indicated on the website; or if at another store approximately 3 working days – please call in advance if you are making a long journey, just in case!
Not everything is immediately available to view in their Waterford Store.
Be sure to use the Check Availability feature on product pages – it will tell you if the products you are shopping for are available in the shop or need to be brought in from their warehouse facilities. This is particularly important if you want to “try before you buy”.
How will I know when my order is ready?
For every order they will send you an e-mail to let you know when your order is ready to collect. If you’ve ordered a bike they will contact you once you have placed your order to arrange a collection time.
What do I need to collect my order?
Please bring with you your confirmation e-mail, a photo proof of ID (i.e. passport, driving licence), and proof of address.
They will hold your order in store for 10 days, if you have any problems with getting to the store to collect your order please feel free to contact the collection store and they will happily extend this time where possible.
Can Someone Else Collect My Order?
Please contact the store you have chosen to collect from in advance and they will do their best to accommodate any changes relating to collection.
